Avalon CTP & WinFX SDK
Today I downloaded the WinFX SDK along with the Avalon Community Technology Preview. I'm really excited about having the power of XAML markup in rich client applications in the future. Of course like most new programming endeavors, I like to start with a "Hello World" application. I found the pre-alpha code to be a huge pain in the @$$, with my main complains being the vague exceptions that can occur, and the documentation being out of synch - but these things are to be expected at this point. Anyway, it's a lot of fun and definitely worth downloading to get some exposure to WinFX (at least the “Avalon“ subsystem).
