Time for a "so" jar at my house

Recently it was pointed out to me that I tend to start a lot of sentences with the word “so.” A lot of people have noticed the Channel 9 videos of Microsoft employees doing this ad nauseum. This phenomenon may have originated in the NW, but it has easily made its way down to AZ. I'm not quite sure where *I* picked up the habit (although I have one, two, or three ideas). I'm not sure I can actually stop at this point without resorting to electric shocks or a "so" jar. I have to admit, I like it a lot better than the improper/overuse of the word “like” or non-word "umm."
