TheChaseMan's Frenetic SoapBox

Always looking for better ways to do things...

*Off Topic * ID Required

  • To fix an error on my ISP/CableTV account last week, I had to go to the company and show 2 forms of ID.
  • If I want to buy beer, I have to show ID.
  • If I pick my daughter up from her preschool, I have to show ID.
  • If I want to get a free lunch at Denny's on my birthday, I have to show ID.
  • At some movie theaters to get into an R rated move, I have to show ID.
  • To buy a handgun, I have to show ID.
  • If I want to get a job, I have to show ID (2 forms) to actually gain employment only to receive in many cases another "company ID"; furthermore, a domain login ID (and password) from data security which is indirectly another form of ID that I have to use on a regular basis.
